Finally!

Soooo my teeth are out, well at least half of them. Today was the day I was scheduled to go to the hospital and have surgery for my TMJ, but apparently I didn't need it. So instead, the oral surgeon said he could remove my wisdom teeth on the left side of my face. I am higher than than a kite, some clouds, and maybe even an airplane right now, so typing anything coherent is turning out to be pretty difficult. Anyway, today was just another testament to the efficiency of Japanese hospitals. My appointment started at 2:30, we even got there a little late, and barely a half an hour later, I was done and ready to leave. Thank goodness because I've been such a wreck over the past week and haven't been getting any sleep, so maybe now I can finally relax. I've stocked up on pudding and soup, so I should be good for the next couple of days, but unfortunately I have to go through the same process all over again next Saturday >.< Something to be thankful for... it only cost me $70.00 to get two wisdom teeth removed (including pain meds), so the grand total for all four wisdom teeth will be about $140.00. Not bad compared to the $400+ I would have to spend in the States :)
